Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her first role as an actor was in the TV production Her Costly Affair. She struggled to get an appearance on Starship Troopers. Amy struggled to make the shift to acting as models weren't considered skilled actors and usually got smaller roles. Amy persevered. She worked her way up into bigger roles, beginning with The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Amy was then promoted to lead parts in 2005's love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy received the recognition she'd been seeking since the age of 10. Amy went on to appear in major movies such as the Crank Series alongside Jason Statham, and Shameless.
