Amy Smart has been a model, actress as well as a former American. Amy Smart was born and brought up in California, America. She began modelling in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film which was her first film performance. Then, in a minor role in the feature film Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. At first, it was difficult for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. This is because most models aren't great actors. In the majority of cases, they're assigned small and insignificant parts. Amy did not give up and ultimately she was offered bigger parts in the movies Varsity Blues and The 70s. Amy later stepped into lead roles in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for the role she'd been seeking since the age of 10. She went on doing some significant films like the Crank series with Jason Statham and the series Shameless where she played a well loved recurring character.
