
Kelly Ripa, born on October 2, 1970 is a performer, talk show host, actress, and television producer. Ripa is known for a wide range of roles. These include Faith Fairfield on ABC's sitcom Hope & Faith and Hayley Vaughan in ABC's daytime soap series All My Children. Since 2001, she's co-hosted the morning show "Live With Kelly and Ryan". Ripa and her spouse Mark Consuelos and their Milojo production company, based in New York, owns the business. Kelly Maria Ripa was raised and born in Berlin, New Jersey, the daughter of Esther Ripa a labor union director for bus drivers and Joseph Ripa. Her family is only the first family to be involved in the profession of acting. As a young girl, she began studying ballet. Also, she plays the piano. Ripa has graduated from Eastern Regional High in New Jersey and was also a cheerleader. While in high school, her Drama teacher encouraged Ripa to pursue a career as an actor. She was discovered in her senior year while she appeared in a local production in the play "The Ugly Duckling". Later, she attended Camden County College in order to pursue a degree in psychology. However, she moved to New York City.
