
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her debut role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. She was then in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). Sigman was a star in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both series. Sigman was born to her Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. She is a U.S. citizen through her father. His brother, baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was earlier engaged to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career on Mexican TV before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she was cast in the lead character of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film, Miss Bala. The film was chosen as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Award, however it didn't make the shortlist.
